Important Safety Notice

BedBugSafe provides bed bug heat treatment equipment, training materials, and related information. Thermal remediation systems generate high temperatures and must be operated carefully and in accordance with all safety standards, manufacturer instructions, and applicable local codes.

Improper installation or operation of heat treatment equipment can result in fire hazards, electrical hazards, water damage, or property damage.

The purchaser and/or end user is responsible for verifying that the building electrical system is adequate, properly sized, and installed in accordance with NFPA 70: National Electrical Code and all applicable local regulations before connecting or operating any heat treatment equipment.

BedBugSafe and Convectex LLC strongly recommend consulting with a licensed electrician or qualified professionalprior to connecting or operating heat treatment equipment.

Fire Suppression Systems Notice

Due to the high temperatures required for effective thermal treatment, fire suppression systems such as sprinklers may activate if left operational.

Before performing any thermal treatment, the property owner or operator should evaluate the fire suppression system and consult appropriate professionals regarding whether sprinklers should be shut off, capped, drained, or otherwise managed during treatment.

BedBugSafe and Convectex LLC accept no responsibility for damages resulting from activated fire suppression systems during heat treatment.

Equipment Use Responsibility

The purchaser and/or end user assumes full responsibility for the installation, configuration, and operation of any heat treatment equipment purchased through BedBugSafe.

BedBugSafe and Convectex LLC are not responsible for damages, malfunctions, or non-functionality resulting from:

  • Improper electrical systems

  • Improper installation

  • Improper equipment configuration

  • Improper operation or misuse of equipment

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BedBugSafe and Convectex LLC shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the sale, installation, operation, repair, or use of any equipment, products, training materials, or related services.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Fire damage

  • Water damage

  • Electrical damage

  • Property damage

  • Loss of profits

  • Loss of use of property

  • Business interruption or delay

By purchasing or using equipment or training materials from BedBugSafe, the purchaser and/or end user acknowledges and accepts these terms and assumes all associated risks.
